SC188 (B) – Investor Pathway
The Business Investor Visa (Investor Pathway – also known as the SC188 B ) is for foreign investors who want to invest into an Australian state/territory through a designated investment mandated by that specific state/territory government.
This visa required a passing score on a points test and is valid for 4 years with certain conditions.
Migrant investors applying for this visa permit must show they have a realistic and genuine commitment to continuing a business and investment activity after the initial investment has matured.
SC188 (C) – Significant Investor Visa
The aim of this visa permit is to facilitate a boost in the Australian economy and to compete effectively for high net worth individuals pursuing investment migration. Migrant investors will be required to invest $5 million Australian Dollars into complying investments for a 4 year minimum before being eligible to apply for a permanent visa.
SC188 (D) – Premium Investor Visa (PIV)
The PIV is is targeted to those who are deemed as ‘talented entrepreneurs’ and ‘innovators’. This visa permit has been introduced on the back of the Significant Investor Visa and offers applicants who are eligible an efficient alternative and still receive Australian permanent residency. Applicants must meet a $15 million Australian Dollar threshold of investment through approved industries to begin a fast-track 12-month process to residency.
